Hi, I'm Nicole.
Based in Melbourne, I make hand-drawn illustrations with pencil textures and a folk-art palette, warm, a little wobbly, and full of small details to discover. My work is about slowing down and finding the beauty in ordinary, unhurried moments.
Every print in this shop is an original illustration, made to order just for you. I hope it finds a good wall.
About Tofu
And this is Tofu.
Tofu is my cat, and the unofficial creative director of this studio. He supervises every drawing from approximately 30 centimetres away, has strong opinions about when it's time to stop working (always).
The name nicotofu is part mine, part his. That felt right. You'll find him tucked into a lot of the illustrations. I like to think he's proud. He certainly acts like it.
